The Idil Biret Education Initiative (IBEI) is a Pennsylvania 501(c)(3) nonprofit established to preserve, publish, and promote the humanistic legacy of pianist Idil Biret by supporting education in music, art, and literature.

We are working with the Idil Biret Foundation in Istanbul to digitize and share historical materials — including correspondence with world leaders, rare recordings, and documentation of Turkey’s cultural renaissance.
